MOI Hosts Workshop with Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research to Promote National Awareness

As part of its National Awareness Enhancement Initiative, the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, organized an educational workshop aimed at deepening awareness, fostering cultural exchange, and examining key regional and global developments.

This initiative aligns with the Ministry’s commitment to educational outreach, emphasizing the UAE’s strategic vision, national principles, and pivotal role in strengthening security. The workshops also address critical issues that enhance public awareness and knowledge across various domains.

Moderated by Mohammed Ghareeb Al Ahbabi from the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, the workshop explored two key themes. The first focused on the China-U.S. technological rivalry, delving into its underlying drivers and industry dynamics. Dr. Ahmed Al Safti from the same center provided insights into the competition in artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and the evolving geo-economic landscape shaped by digital advancements.

The second theme examined the China-U.S. competition in the logistics sector, particularly in ports. Dr. Amna Nahil Al Ketbi discussed global strategies for port development and management, the logistics policies of China and the U.S., and the broader implications of their competition in this crucial sector.
