Distinctive Conclusion to the Police Jiu-Jitsu Championship's Sixth Edition

The sixth edition of the Police Jiu-Jitsu Championship, organized by the Police Sports Association in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Police General HQs, concluded at Al Jazira Sports Club in Abu Dhabi. A total of 116 male and female participants, representing various sectors of the Ministry of Interior and General Police HQs across the UAE, took part in the event.

The championship showcased intense challenges and thrilling competitions, bringing together top athletes from both the men's and women's divisions. The closing ceremony was attended by Brigadier Walid Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of the Police College, Brigadier Dr. Omar Al Khayal, Director of the Police Sports Association and Head of the Sports Committee at the Ministry of Interior, alongside other distinguished officers.

In the final results, the Dubai Police General HQs team secured first place in the women’s category, followed by the Abu Dhabi Police General HQs team in second place, and the Ministry of Interior team in third. In the men's category, the Dubai Police General HQs team once again claimed first place, while the Abu Dhabi Police General HQs team came second, and the Sharjah Police General HQs team took third place. In the elite competitions, the Abu Dhabi Police General HQs team emerged victorious in first place, with the Dubai Police General HQs team finishing second, and the Ajman Police General HQs team securing third place.

At the conclusion of the event, the winners were honored, with trophies and shields presented to all participating teams and tournament organizers.
