MOI Highlights Children’s Rights and Anti-Bullying Awareness
The Law Respect Culture Bureau, under the General Directorate of Community Protection and Crime Prevention, in partnership with the Ministry of Interior’s Child Protection Center, delivered two awareness lectures for students at Liwa School in Al Qattara, Al Ain. The sessions, held under the theme Bullying and Child Protection, came as part of the Ministry’s initiatives to confront harmful behaviors and step up efforts to create a secure and healthy environment for all members of society, with particular focus on students.
During the lectures, specialists explained the meaning of bullying, its different forms, and effective ways to prevent and address such conduct. They also introduced the provisions of the Child Rights Law and familiarized students with official channels for reporting abuse. These include the dedicated hotline (116111), the Hemayati smart app, and electronic reporting through the Ministry of Interior’s Child Protection Center website.
