Sharjah Police Delegation Visits MOI Human Rights Department
A delegation from the Sharjah Police General HQs, led by Colonel Dr. Abdullah Saif Al Dhabahi, visited the Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Interior to gain insights into the department’s practices and expertise in human rights.
Colonel Mohammed Khalifa Al Hamoudi, Director of the Human Rights Department, opened the meeting by warmly welcoming the delegation. He praised the visit as a reflection of Sharjah Police’s commitment to advancing human rights principles and fostering the exchange of knowledge in this vital domain. He noted that such interactions strengthen institutional development and reinforce human rights standards within the police system.
During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the department’s key initiatives and programs, as well as the committees that play a role in supporting human rights efforts at both the ministry and national levels.
The visit highlights ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration and integration among police general HQs across the UAE. By sharing expertise and experiences, such initiatives contribute to fortifying the human rights framework and achieving the highest levels of institutional excellence.
