The Office of the Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior (MOI) received a delegation from the UAE University, on an official visit, as part of the MOI benchmarking plan, to review the best practices and policies applied in the field of internal auditing. This aims to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two parties, develop a work mechanism, and exchange expertise and experiences to apply them in various fields of work.
Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi explained that the visit is a part of strengthening efforts, achieving cooperation and communication with all authorities and institutions in the public and private sectors, based on the strategic vision of the MOI. This vision aims to improve services and performance, and achieve quality in the work environment, through the exchange of knowledge and experiences in various fields and topics of common interest with all concerned parties.
Lt. Col. Dr. Saad Ali Al-Maamari, Director of the Internal Audit Office, presented a detailed explanation of the best practices applied by the MOI Internal Audit Office in accordance with international standards, its methodology and its work mechanism within the office's strategic plan. The delegation was also briefed on the internal audit charter, principles and ethics, as well as topics related to modern techniques and methods reached by the internal audit processes in the MOI.

Ms. Nawal Juma'a Al-Dhafri, Director of the Internal Audit Office at the UAE University, reviewed the mechanism and tasks of internal auditing and the practices applied at the University.
At the end of the visit, shields and souvenirs were exchanged between the two sides.
