The 2nd meeting of the UAE Kuwait ministers of interior joint technical convenes to enhance cooperation between the two brotherly countries
The joint technical team between the UAE MoI and Kuwait MoI met between November 28 and 30, 2022.
The meeting was held in Kuwait where the Kuwait delegation was presided by Major General Jamal Hatem al Sayegh, assistant undersecretary for traffic and operations at the Kuwait Ministry of Interior. While the UAE delegation was presided by Brigadier Abdel Aziz al Ahmed, chair of the joint security team, accompanied by several officers.
The meeting addressed the bilateral connection for traffic fines through the GCC Zajel system. Determining the necessary procedures for that, along with setting a time plan for project implementation.
A number of future projects that promote the exchange of best practices, systems, communication and data platforms, and the digital government work system were also discussed.
