Saif bin Zayed honors Al Faraj Fund supporters
Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, recognized Al Faraj Fund supporters at a ceremony in Expo City Dubai, during COP28.
His Highness awarded the community service medal and certificates to honorees, acknowledging their humanitarian efforts that released inmates, bringing joy to families. Expressing gratitude for positive citizenship, Sheikh Saif commended contributors, highlighting their role in the Fund’s success, achieving goals, and fostering values of brotherhood, compassion, tolerance, and community solidarity.
The Minister and the audience viewed a presentation showcasing Al Faraj Fund’s achievements and its societal role aiding financially insolvent inmates. The ceremony included Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Major General Salem Al Shamsi, His Excellency Khalil Daoud Badran, and representatives from public and private sectors.
Honorees included HH Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, represented by HH Sheikh Zayed bin Mohammed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan. Also honored were HE Hamad Suhail Al Khaili, HE Mubarak Rashid Al Mansouri, Ghanem bin Hamouda Al Dhaheri's sons, HE Faraj bin Hamouda, Khaled Ghanem bin Hamouda Al Dhaheri, Abdul Jalil Abdul Rahman Al Blouki, Hamad Sultan Al Darmaki, the family of the late Aousha Butti Al Otaiba, Saeed Abdul Karim Al Fahim, Hilal Mubarak Al Mansouri, Sultan Saeed Al Suwaidi, and Mohammed Ali Al Ansari representing Al Ansari Exchange, Sheikh Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Charitable Foundation, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable Foundation, Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Community Contributions Authority, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Abu Dhabi Bank, Islamic Bank, Dubai Islamic Bank, Al Rostamani Group, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Charitable Foundation, International Foodstuff Company, and Al Nasser Holding Company.
