Major General Salem Mubarak Al Shamesi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry for Resources and Support Services attended the ceremony to celebrate the conclusion of a course in specialized photography.

As many as 11 media personnel from the Ministry of Interior and police GHQs across the country took part in the course, organized by the Security Media Department at the Ministry of Interior. The course included practical and theoretic applications in specialized and crime scene photography, as well as road accident photography and other topics related to photography.

Lt. Col. Fawaz Ali Abdullah, Director of Security Information Department at the Ministry of Interior, stressed that such specialized courses contribute to raising the efficiency and capabilities of security media photographers in line with the nature of their tasks, focusing on the skills of mobile photography, speed and accuracy and the comprehensiveness of the coverage of tasks and the full clarity of the interrogation and evidence.

He explained that the participants received theoretical and practical science at the Civil Defense Academy in Abu Dhabi, the crime scene village in Ajman, a number of events and events held by the Ministry of Interior in the UAE, in addition to lessons in first aid in cooperation with the national ambulance.

He pointed out the keenness of the Security Media Department to qualify all media professionals working in the police fields to achieve the strategic objectives of the Department related to the general objectives of the Ministry of Interior, especially in the areas of providing the best administrative services and enhancing readiness and response and ensure the best outputs in the delivery of the media message to the Ministry of Interior Transferring information from the event site and informing the public of the updated information and information

He explained that the course included training on many intensive technical programs that deal with the most important media theories and legal and ethical determinants and ways of cooperation and coordination between police agencies in events and events, as well as reviewing the best techniques applied in the world of photography and methods of processing and training on distinct programs in image processing.
