Health and Safety Course at the Interpol Virtual Academy
The UAE Ministry of Interior has created a specialized course on health and safety in weapons and ammunition to be implemented at the Interpol Virtual Academy in cooperation between the Ministry's International Affairs Office, Dubai Police and the Interpol Global Academy.
This course was prepared by Captain Expert Engineer Mohammed Abdullah Al Shamsi from the General Department of Forensic Evidence and Criminology at Dubai Police, a graduate of the Interpol Global Young Police Leaders Program. The course comes as an affirmation of the UAE's commitment to enhancing international cooperation and building capacity in the field of law enforcement.
Accordingly, the course is now available to law enforcement personnel around the world to benefit from the specialized and professional material within the course topics that come within the keenness to enhance knowledge, support safety, and encourage international cooperation in the field of defining the handling of firearms and ammunition.
The Ministry of Interior invites all law enforcement personnel to take advantage of this opportunity and join the course to enhance their skills in this vital field and develop their capabilities and knowledge in the fields of health, prevention and occupational safety.
The INTERPOL Virtual Academy, which is open to law enforcement personnel and a select group of INTERPOL partners, can be accessed in two ways: either from the INTERPOL National Central Bureau in the country where it is available or by submitting a message via an online contact form. Once applications have been assessed and accepted, INTERPOL will provide the necessary information to securely access the platform.
