The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Human Rights Department, and in coordination with the Retirees and Volunteers Affairs Office in the Directorate General for Public Relations commemorated the International Day of Older Persons which is observed each year on 1 October by organizing a virtual lecture entitled Senior Citizens Continuous Giving in coordination with the Retirees and Volunteers Affairs Office in the Directorate General for Public Relations.

The lecture was presented by retired Brigadier-General Jamal Salem Al Ameri who began his introduction by extending his thanks and gratitude to the wise leadership for devoting its attention to the senior citizens.
