Ministry of Defense Delegation Reviews MOI’s Best Practices in Hajj and Umrah Mission Management

A delegation from the Ministry of Defense recently visited the Ministry of Interior to assess its best practices in organizing Hajj and Umrah arrangements for staff members. This visit falls within the framework of fostering institutional communication and information exchange between government bodies in the country. During the visit, the Ministry of Defense delegation reviewed the Ministry of Interior’s operational system, focusing on procedures for services and facilities provided to pilgrims and Umrah performers. These practices include early mission planning, travel and residence arrangements, health safeguards, and safety requirements, ensuring smooth operations until the safe return of the missions. Additionally, the delegation examined mechanisms for enhancing the experience of retired employees, particularly those benefiting from Umrah services during Ramadan a program that consistently serves a large number of retirees each year.

At the conclusion of the visit, Brigadier Mohammed Butti Al Shamsi, Director of the Public Relations Department and Head of the Hajj and Umrah Committee, extended his gratitude to the delegation. The visiting officials praised the Ministry of Interior for its advanced practices in promoting employee well-being, ensuring fairness in opportunity, and upholding high standards of safety for its staff during Hajj and Umrah.
