Fujairah Civil Defense Executes Strategic Drill to Boost Response and Readiness with Key Partners
The General Directorate of Fujairah Civil Defense, in collaboration with strategic partners, has conducted a comprehensive exercise, codenamed Educational 2 , at the Zayed Educational Complex in Al-Bidiyah, Fujairah.
This strategic drill aimed to evaluate the readiness of specialized teams from various authorities in handling rapid intervention cases and responding to critical emergencies, particularly large-scale fire incidents. The exercise featured a series of emergency scenarios set within the school premises, demanding swift and coordinated intervention by professional teams. These teams practiced vital operations such as search and rescue, evacuation, sheltering, road security, and traffic control, all designed to ensure optimal response times.
The training emphasized identifying opportunities for improvement, refining procedures, and fostering coordination among partners. The ultimate goal was to protect lives, safeguard public property, and meet the highest health and safety standards. The exercise saw active participation from police, ambulance, and rescue teams, supported by helicopters and other specialized resources. Educational staff, including students, teachers, and administrators, also took part in the simulation. The event demonstrated seamless coordination between the Ministry of Interior sectors and their partners, successfully achieving the strategic objectives of the drill.
