The Police Sports Association and the Federal Police School held a graduation ceremony for 21 trainees who completed the basic course for physical fitness trainers. The course, hosted at the school’s headquarters in Sharjah, spanned six weeks and aimed to develop skilled sports professionals to enhance the preparedness of personnel from the Ministry of Interior and Police General HQs across the UAE.
The program covered both theoretical and practical components. On the theoretical side, trainees studied the fundamentals of physical education, types of sports games, leadership and learning skills in training, communication methods, anatomy, sports injuries, and first aid. The practical portion focused on shaping the trainer’s personality, managing trainees, and conducting exercises in flexibility, stretching, speed, endurance, and circuit training. It also included the development of a mini-training program plan.
HE Brigadier Dr. Omar Mohammed Al-Khayal, Director of the Police Sports Federation Department and Head of the Sports Committee, awarded certificates to the graduates who successfully passed the course’s theoretical and practical evaluations.
