MOI Takes Part in GITEX 2024
The Ministry of Interior is participating in GITEX Technology Week 2024, scheduled from October 14 to 18 at the Dubai World Trade Center. This ongoing involvement in one of the world’s largest technology events underscores the Ministry’s commitment to embracing the latest innovations and digital solutions.
Through its participation, the Ministry aims to enhance security, deliver top-tier police services, and support the goals of the Zero Government Bureaucracy Program by adopting cutting-edge technologies. At its GITEX platform, the Ministry will showcase a range of services offered to the public through its smart application, website, and various projects, highlighting its progress in digital transformation.
This aligns with the UAE government’s directives to promote leadership, sustainability, and excellence in public service. The Ministry’s presence at GITEX also includes presentations of key projects aimed at fostering partnerships between the public and private sectors. These initiatives highlight the collaborative efforts of all community members and institutions in achieving strategic objectives. Several police departments will present a variety of technological projects, including the digital suppliers platform, an electronic payment gateway, and smart financial services designed for employees and customers. These smart services operate without human intervention and feature a zero-error rate, streamlining the customer experience without the need to engage with the financial department.
The solutions save time and effort, reduce fees, offer flexible payment options, support digital transformation leadership, ensure compliance with governance standards, enhance control and oversight, and provide flexibility in generating financial reports.
