MINISTRY OF THE INTERIOR CELEBRATES THE EMIRATI WOMEN'S DAY, UNDER THE TITLE "WOMEN: AMBITIOUS AND INSPIRATION FOR NEXT 50 YEARS"

The Ministry of Interior celebrated, via remote video communication technology, the Emirati Women's Day, under the title Women: Ambitious and Inspiration for Next 50 Years , as part of the country's celebrations on this occasion. The ceremony was held under the generous patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, "Mother of the Nation."

The virtual celebration was attended by Major General Salem Ali Mubarak Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services along with directors of departments, a number of officers and women from all sectors of the Ministry of Interior.

Major General Al Shamsi delivered a speech in which he conveyed the greetings of His Highness Lieutenant-General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, stressing His Highness's continuous support for Emirati women and his constant keenness to enhance their status and empower them in all fields,

He pointed out that the celebration of Emirati Women's Day comes from the belief of the country's leadership in the importance of contributing Women and their role in development efforts and the country’s renaissance, in appreciation and honor for what they have provided to support the country in all fields.



He added that Emirati women enjoy the appreciation of the leadership and their continuous support .He added that the founding leader, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, "may God rest his soul", the builder of the UAE's renaissance, was keen to support and empower women and remove all obstacles that stand in the way of their advancement and recognition of their rights.

He stressed that Emirati women have proven and continue to prove, day after day, their competence and excellence in all the tasks they entrusted to them, thanks to the interest and keenness of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to continue supporting Emirati women, who confirmed their strong presence.

After that, the activities of the dialogue session began, which was moderated by Fahd Haikal from in which H.E. Naama Abdullah Al-Sharhan, Second Vice-President of the Federal National Council, H.E. Mariam Majid bin Thaniah, a member of the Federal National Council, and Dr. Fatima Abdullah Al-Hammadi, Head of the Youth Skills and Capabilities Development Department at the Foundation participated. Family Development, Captain Moza Rashid Al Khabouri, Director of the Awareness Programs Branch at the Community Police Department, Chairman of the Women’s Police Council in Ras Al Khaimah Police, and Abeer Abdul Rahim Al Hammadi, Head of the Strategy and Performance Development Department at the Civil Defense General Command.




The General Command of Civil Defense organized a virtual forum in the presence of Major General Dr. Jassim Al Marzouqi, Commander-in-Chief, under the title Inspirations of Civil Defense, in which Kholoud Al Tunaiji, a positive energy advisor, a life coach, and a number of women working in the civil defense sector participated in the presence of a large number of officers, in addition to honoring the Commander-in-Chief for a number of Outstanding female employees.

The Police College also celebrated this occasion in cooperation with the Social Solidarity Fund for Employees of the Ministry of Interior (Fazaa), where Brigadier Dr. Jassim al Antli honored the distinguished female employees For their efforts, urging them to continue their work and to participate with their fellow men to complete the march of excellence and advancement, and thanked the Social Solidarity Fund for the Ministry of Interior’s employees (Fazaa) for their participation in this celebration.
